The complete 76-card main set for the upcoming Japanese Pokémon TCG expansion Storm Emeralda has officially been revealed ahead of its 31 July 2026 release.
As the latest expansion in the Mega Evolution era, Storm Emeralda is already shaping up to be one of the biggest Japanese Pokémon TCG releases of 2026. Featuring the newly revealed Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golisopod ex and Mega Golurk ex, the expansion continues to build on the return of Mega Evolution while introducing exciting new mechanics and artwork for collectors and competitive players alike.
Brand-New Legendary Stadium Cards Debut
One of the biggest reveals from the complete set is the introduction of Legendary Stadium cards.
These split Stadium cards feature "Legendary" in their names and are a throwback to the iconic LEGEND cards from the HeartGold & SoulSilver era, where two halves were required to complete a single card.
The mechanic works in a similar way, with each Legendary Stadium consisting of two halves that share the same card name. Because of this, players can only include two complete copies of each Legendary Stadium in a deck, creating a unique deck-building restriction not seen in recent Pokémon TCG expansions.

- Legendary Trench
- Legendary Summit
- Legendary Lava Lake
The introduction of this mechanic adds another fresh layer to Storm Emeralda, making the expansion more than just another Mega Evolution set.
